XIMNET Appointed to Support Digital Experience for KL Festival 2026

Across 26 days, the festival activates heritage buildings, streets, and public spaces with more than 80 programmes and over 700 hours of performances, installations, workshops, and community-led activations with most of which are freely accessible to the public.

As part of this engagement, XIMNET will support the festival’s digital ecosystem through a modern, experience-driven platform designed to enhance discovery, accessibility, and engagement across diverse audience groups. The digital experience will serve as a central hub for festival information, programme exploration, and real-time updates, enabling both local and international audiences to navigate the breadth of KL Festival’s offerings with ease.

This collaboration is aligned with KL Festival’s broader mission to reimagine Downtown Kuala Lumpur as a living cultural canvas by strengthening civic identity, supporting creative practitioners, and expanding access to the arts through inclusive programming and urban activation.

Built on XIMNET’s XTOPIA digital ecosystem, the platform will also enable scalable content management for organisers, supporting dynamic programme updates, curated storytelling, and improved audience engagement through data-informed insights.
