EON Bank Berhad is a wholly owned subsidiary of EON CAPITAL Berhad. The purpose of establishing an Islamic Subsidiary is to accelerate the growth of Islamic Banking Business facilitated by syariah-compliant relationships that cover under the Islamic Banking Act 1983 (IBA).

EONCAP Islamic Bank commenced business operation beginning April 1, 2006 thus becoming the full-fledged Islamic Bank of a commercial banking group in Malaysia. However, EONCAP Islamic Bank is not new to Islamic banking. We have been offering Islamic banking products and services earlier through EON Bank, when Bank Negara Malaysia introduced the window concept in 1993.
